Greek Grassroots Side Abalos FC Reveal New Kits From Kappa

Following very much in the footsteps of Victoria Park Vixens, Greek grassroots side Abalos FC have unveiled a fresh new collection, and it once again comes courtesy of Kappa.

This week, we got the away kit reveal from Victoria Park Vixens, a London-based grassroots team. It arrived on the back of the home kit launch, which came just before Christmas, and both were beautifully bespoke designs that came from Kappa. The home kit was revealed while VP Vixens were enjoying a tour in Greece, and they happened to play a Greek grassroots side named Abalos FC, who also had ties to Kappa, likely born through a relationship with Greek professional side, Athens Kallithea. Now, Abalos have revealed their new 2024 collection…

Abalos and VP Vixens share a lot of similarities, both in terms of the scale of their respective operations and their shared ethos. And now they also share the fact that they’re both the proud recipients of a splendid Kappa home and away ensemble, the home of each being debuted when the two sides played in Athens.

The Greek side’s home shirt sees a sky blue base bordered by white accents in the collar and cuffs. The Kappa logo stands out in a darker navy tone on the right chest and on top of the sleeves. The away shirt then inverts that colour scheme, and both are joined by a wavy goalkeeper shirt and a striking prematch jersey that boasts an array of colourful geometric shapes.

Kappa doing the biz once again.
