Real Madrid Debut Unreleased 2024 Tracksuit

Real Madrid kicked off the new year with a narrow 1-0 win over Mallorca, but it was their prematch attire that really caught the attention, with the squad travelling in a previously unseen tracksuit.

Ahead of their first game of the year, Real Madrid debuted a never-seen-before retro-feel tracksuit as they traveled to the Bernabeu. The jacket is obviously the standout of the complete suit, and it boasts a late 90s to early 2000s style, with a block colour setup featuring a dark navy base with a purple chest and yellow accents framing the look. The same colour configuration is carried across onto the trousers in true tracksuit style.

The players were spotted boarding the team bus in the new threads, before checking out the pitch at their home stadium. They then switched out of the tracksuit for the warmup, suggesting that this is not a prematch jacket, but rather a travelling outfit, and likely part of a wider collection that’ll drop in the near future.

The colour combo is a close match to the current training and prematch look, with the purple acting as a through line that may well continue on in a wider collection. Interestingly though, the tracksuit features the old Performance logo, which is now referred to as the Sportswear logo by the brand. This possibly suggests that the tracksuit may be part of a more lifestyle-angled collection, but we’ll have to wait and see on that as it's not currently available for retail.
