PUMA & Olympique de Marseille Unveil New "OM AFRICA" Collection

Created in tribute to African culture, PUMA and Olympique de Marseille have revealed the latest 'OM AFRICA’ collection, which fuses Africa's rich cultural heritage with the spirit and passion of the club and its fans.

Back in early 2021, PUMA and Olympique Marseille dropped a mini capsule under the ‘OM Africa’ header, and it featured three vibrant Africa-inspired lifestyle jerseys. That was followed up later that year by a slightly expanded collection that featured a tracksuit, and now they’re back with a long-awaited follow-up, continuing to celebrate the strong relationship between the continent and club.

The collection is made up of three jerseys again, mainly featuring red-yellow-green colours, present on many flags of Africa, while integrating the traditional sky blue of Olympique de Marseille. As well as the jerseys there is also a bucket hat and other accessories, while a special edition of the club’s 23/24 home jersey is available with the OM Africa crest proudly positioned in the centre of the chest.

Through two videos on the club’s social platforms, the unfailing links between Africa and Marseille were highlighted. The videos bring together fans of African origins, sharing their sharing stories, and in so doing pays tribute to the cultural influences that are inherently present between the French club and Africa. And it’s these influences that inspire the Marseillais – both players and fans alike – and this is why both the club and PUMA were keen to celebrate the link. A series of photos with the club's African players was also taken so that they could pay tribute to their own roots.
