Botafogo Reveal & Debut New Home Shirt For 24/25 From Reebok

Continuing their celebrated return to football kit design after its storied success in the 2000s, Reebok have kicked off their second season with Botafogo in spectacular fashion with the launch of the Rio de Janeiro club’s new home kit for the 2024/25 season.

As is often the way in South America, a kit gets revealed and very shortly after they receive their debut – no waiting on ceremony there, just straight to business. And that’s the case with Rio-based Botafogo, who debuted their newly revealed home kit in their 1-0 win over Vitória in the Copa do Brasil yesterday.

The new 2024/25 Botafogo home kit celebrates the renowned Brazilian club’s 130th anniversary and features their traditional monochromatic stripes but with a ‘zigzag’ texture to simulate the knitted texture used on its jerseys in the 50’s and 60’s.

Reebok’s partnership with Botafogo is seen as a key component in the brand’s mission to reclaim its place in sports culture.

Recently they revealed a collaboration with Caribbean couture brand, Botter, with a collection that celebrates Reebok’s rich archive in football.
