Pumas UNAM Reveal 24/25 Home & Away Jerseys From Nike

Drawing inspiration from their kit from the late 90s and the club’s unique crest for the home and away respectively, Mexican side Pumas UNAM ave revealed their new kits from Nike for the 24/25 season.

One of the most unique looks in the game gets its annual refresh, as Liga MX side Pumas UNAM reveal their new home and away jerseys from Nike. The home shirt reintroduces horizontal stripes for the first time since 1997/98. The white base sees the golden stripes running throughout the body and sleeves, and within these stripes is a repeating triangular graphic. The look is then finished with the signature enlarged Puma head, which resides front and centre in navy in place of a traditional crest, as has been the club’s calling card for as long as memory serves. The navy accents then border the design on the sleeves and collar.

The away shirt then features a navy base with the Puma head in white and the collar and cuff details featuring in gold. The inspiration behind this design is the origin of the Puma head logo itself; it sits upon a geometric pattern in gold, nodding to the fact the crest recently celebrated its 50th anniversary by acknowledging the original sketches of its preconception.

While the Pumas look is instantly identifiable in the world of football, the battle for Nike is keeping it fresh. But they’ve manages it by once again mining the past while keeping things progressive.
