Bayern Munich Reveal 24/25 Away Kit From adidas

Inspired by the heart of the Bavarian region, adidas has revealed Bayern Munich’s away shirt for the 24/25 season. Core to the bespoke design is a celebration of Munich’s iconic bronze ‘Bavaria’ statue.

As always, Bayern Munich were quick out of the gates with the reveal of their new home shirt, which dropped way back at the beginning of May. Now they follow that up with their new home shirt, and it’s another bespoke design from adidas; one that draws inspiration from ‘Bavaria’ – a statue that personifies the strength of the club’s Bavarian homeland, residing in the heart of Theresienwiese in Munich.

The design is presented in blue and green swirls throughout the black base of the jersey, providing a look reminiscent of the shades seen on the statue’s surface. Joining that all-over graphic, glimmers of ‘Bavaria’ can also be seen within the bronze detailing used across the iconic club crest, the adidas logo, sponsor logo and the Three Stripes that feature on the shoulders of the jersey. Completing the design is the sign off ‘Mia San Mia’ that features in bronze on the rear of the neck collar, in reference to the phrase and song synonymous with the club and its players, and the historic success achieved on the European and domestic stage.

Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design at adidas said: “Theresienwiese represents the best of Bavaria and Munich – it’s a bustling spot where people come to connect. To ensure this iconic local hub was properly represented, we looked to its centre point – ‘Bavaria’ – to deliver a contemporary representation of tradition and culture. With this design we wanted FC Bayern’s players and fans to always feel connected to the club's home, even when playing away.”
