Ready for the club’s centenary season, Kappa launch the AS Monaco 24/25 home shirt, which pays tribute to the prestigious history of the Rouge & Blanc, with special focus on the victorious seasons in the French championship.
No club should ever let a centenary season pass without acknowledging the history and heritage of their past, celebrating all the achievements that make them what they are. And that’s exactly what AS Monaco are doing, expressed through their new home shirt from Kappa. The design takes a detail from each of the eight jerseys worn during the club’s championship campaigns, weaving them together in a beautifully modern, yet contemporary tapestry of a shirt.
In all, the details are the iconic diagonal imagined by Princess Grace (1960/61) – a look that has become so signature for the Ligue 1 side; the vertical red stripe on the right flank (2016/17); the white sleeves (1962/63) and their red details (77/78); the subtle circle around the Club crest (81/82); the white V-neck (87/88) embellished with a red stripe (96/97); and the light grey shadow under the diagonal of the front (99/00). Together, they make this shirt a true step back in time, inviting fans to retrace the seasons that have forged AS Monaco's success story.
The design is signed off with a “100 Years” callout on the back of the jersey, just below the collar, inside which is inscribed the motto "Daghe Munegu” in red letters.
