Drawing design inspiration from the Neue Leipziger Schule movement, PUMA launch the RB Leipzig away shirt for the 24/25 season.
Building on the new partnership that has already given us the club’s new home shirt for the coming season, PUMA and RB Leipzig have now revealed their new way shirt for 24/25. Like the home shirt, it’s an eye-catching design that draws on the influence of Neue Leipziger Schule, a movement in German painting, centred in the city of Leipzig after the German reunification. It gained recognition in the early 2000s, and the motions in their energetic paintings have been translated into a graphic representation of the energy and passion in the club. That’s the idea anyway.
What it actually means is we get an away look that’s drenched in red tones, with the graphic that dominates the body certainly giving the impression of brush strokes. There’s a lighter red tone in the collar, while deeper red tones feature in the side panels, framing the design. The club crest, PUMA branding and Red Bull sponsor then standout in a contrasting white.
The Authentic Jersey is made from PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE material, while it has also been made using PUMA’s innovative RE:FIBRE technology, which focuses on textile waste as the main material source for producing new clothing. The recycled material can be used again and again.
