West Ham Reveal 24/25 Home Shirt From Umbro

Gearing up for a new era under the watchful eye of Julien Lopetegui, West Ham have revealed their new home shirt for the 24/25 season from Umbro, which has a design inspired by the club’s 1960s golden era.

West Ham United are a club with a storied history, and they know that they owe a lot to the team of the sixties, where the likes of Bobby Moore, Martin Peters and Geoff Hurst brought major domestic and European glory for the first time, winning the FA Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup in consecutive seasons. The Club has good reason to remember the 1960s this season, with 2024/25 marking the 60th anniversary of their European Cup Winners’ Cup triumph. And so it’s with that team in mind that the club and technical sponsors Umbro have revealed the new home shirt for the 24/25 season.

Drawing inspiration from the kit designs worn in those glory days, the new home shirt features a claret body with blue sleeves, nodding to the classic 1960s style with its round neck and claret detailing on the sleeve cuffs. It features a new commemorative Umbro diamond logo, which has been designed to mark the famous British sportswear company’s 100th anniversary.

The kit reveal was accompanied by a cinematic launch film features cameos from some of the Club’s well known supporters including film and TV stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Tony Way and Harry Collett alongside 1965 Cup Winners’ Cup-winning legend Brian Dear and Roberta Moore, daughter of the late, great West Ham and England captain Bobby Moore, who lifted the trophy at Wembley six decades ago. It was shot in E.Pellicci – the best-preserved old school café in Bethnal Green, right in West Ham United’s East End heartland
