adidas Present New Algeria Home & Away Kit Designs For 24/25

Paying tribute to the nation’s football legacy and cultural heritage, Adidas present the Algeria home and away shirts for 24/25. The designs draw inspiration from the traditional Karakou — a historic Algerian garment known for its intricate golden embroidery.

The club kit scene may well be all but complete for 24/25, save the odd special edition or fourth shirt yet to drop, but thankfully for kit enthusiasts the world over, the international scene is still fuelling jersey culture. And on that note, say hello to the new Algeria home and away kits from adidas, which both feature designs that celebrate the nation's rich football legacy and cultural identity, drawing inspiration from the traditional Karakou.

Initial attention will naturally be drawn to the vibrant look of the green away shirt – totally understandable, and we’ll get to that – but lets start with the home shirt. On first glance, it could easily be dismissed as a pretty plain looking white number, but that’s missing the intricate detail that a closer look offers. Remember that both the home and away shirts draw design inspiration from the golden embroidery of the Algerian Karakou, and while that’s obvious in the bold presentation of the away shirt, it appears as a very subtle embossed print on the home shirt, visible on close up inspection. The shirt is then finished with green and red accents, completing the colour trio from the national flag.

Then there’s that away shirt. Arriving in two tones of green, it sees a deeper shade as the base with the lighter green graphic inspired by the Karakou embroidery sitting across the chest and spreading down the abdomen. The national crest and Three Stripe performance logo sit centrally on the chest, lending the look a beautiful element of symmetry.

Both kits then feature "Algeria" inscribed in Arabic on the back, symbolising unity, pride, and connection for Algerians worldwide. Both designs reflect adidas' commitment not only to the federation’s performance but also to cultural representation through football.

The kit launch is accompanied by a film narrated by French-Algerian rapper Rim’K, highlighting the deep ties between football and community. Set in Algiers, the film goes beyond the pitch to tell the stories of everyday Algerians—café owners, barbers, and fans—who live the connection between football and daily life. These stories, paired with Algerian stars like Ramy Bensebaini, Houssem Aouar, Saïd Benrahma, Amine Gouiri and Ramiz Zerrouki, celebrate Algeria’s football excellence and cultural pride.
