NOCTA Present The Full Venezia 24/25 Collection

Following the reveal of the home and away kits, which arrived in time for the former’s debut in the opening game of the season, NOCTA have now revealed the full Venezia collection for the 24/25 season.

The news that Venezia were parting ways with Kappa after what was a hugely successful three seasons together – both critically and commercially – came as a bit of a surprise when it broke earlier this year. It was matched only by the news of who’d be picking up the reigns, with none other than the Drake-fronted Nike sub-label, NOCTA stepping in seemingly late on to make their debut in the game. It was so late on, in fact, that the club’s new home kit for the campaign was only revealed just ahead of their opening game of the season. Since then we’ve obviously seen the new away kit too, and now we get to properly look at the whole collection with it finally being available for retail.

First point of note with all of this is that the kits have been created in collaboration with NOCTA, suggesting that the label hasn’t had complete creative control of the design process behind the kit – something that makes sense given the quick turnaround that would’ve been needed. What we get though are bold new designs that maintain the essence of the Club’s connection with the city by prominently featuring the classic “Città di Venezia” branding.

The 24/25 collection features designs that pay tribute to Venice while looking to the future: the Home kit, in sleek black with golden details, is adorned with a starry pattern reflecting NOCTA’s connection to the night sky over Venice. While rooted in the city’s culture, these details go beyond historical references, introducing a modern and refined interpretation of the Club’s identity.

The Away kit reinterprets Venezia’s traditional orange and green colours, nodding to streetwear culture while maintaining the Club’s distinctive identity. The “Venezia” wording in the sponsor slot is given an added authority over the design when compared to the home kit, standing out in big, bold orange block lettering, bordered by green.

The Goalkeeper kits are vibrant and expressive, arriving in a combination of green and blue and pink and blue respectively, taking inspiration from the creative styles of the 1990s.

The Pre-Match kit though stands out as a symbol of the VFC and NOCTA collaboration – of what it’s about and what we can expect from the future. While this initial collection may have felt a tad rushed in its execution, with likely only minimal design input from the NOCTA side, the prematch shirt gives more of a flavour of the direction this collaboration will likely head in. Where Venezia x Kappa was an all-round classy affair that typified the football x fashion space, NOCTA’s influence looks like it will likely see the club’s aesthetic lean heavily into the streetwear scene. The design for the prematch shirt incorporates the Club’s signature orange, black, and green colours again, albeit in far more of a block execution, while the sleeve carries a bespoke logo that seals the union of the two brands.

The launch of the NOCTA and Venezia FC collection is an exciting fusion of two worlds: sport and culture," explained Fabrizia Monteleone, Brand Manager Venezia FC. "This collaboration celebrates creativity and the iconic city of Venice, while providing a compelling avenue to connect football fans with new audiences. An exchange between distinct perspectives is opened, bringing forth a bold new vision.”
