Toulouse FC Reveal Stunning 'Violet' Third Shirt

Toulouse Football Club have unveiled their brand-new third shirt for the 24/25 season. Born from a collaboration with Visionnaire, this shirt embodies the clubs origins and nickname with a stunning violet design.

Violet is at the heart of this design, whether it’s the colour or the flower. Being a symbol of Toulouse and part of the DNA of the city, violets are used as the main focus for the Toulouse FC third shirt, covering the front and back. The shirt serves as a declaration of style whilst bridging the gap between French football and fashion.

Since adopting the iconic purple as the clubs colour, the club were still yet to design a shirt with the violet flower, until now. The city is nicknamed ‘Cité des Violettes’, inspiring the club to eventually embrace the culture of the city in 1979. The new jersey pays homage to this with, of course, the traditional violet flowers along with the retro logo from 1979. As well as this, the Nike logo is unlike traditional ones on current shirts, the classic swoosh adorns a vintage style ‘Nike’ written across the top.

“Working hand in hand with Visionnaire, a partner who is both dynamic and creative, allowed us to design a piece that goes beyond the simple football jersey. Each symbol on this jersey pays tribute to Toulouse, to our history and to our identity.” said the President of Toulouse FC.

The shirt will be available 12 February at toulousefc.com
