Power Football Boots - Nike T90 Laser II - Silver/Red/Black - 02/09/09

Nike are to release a new limited edition silver/red/black colourway for the Nike Total 90 Laser II football boots. A particularly striking design, which looks set to be a successful addition to the Nike Laser family.

The Nike T90 Laser II football boots have been an extremely successful range of football boots, and have performed so well that they challenge the adidas Predator as the ultimate power football boots. You just have to look at the list of players choosing to wear the Nike T90 Laser II, which includes Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres, Michael Essien, Andres Iniesta, Wesley Sneijder and Rio Ferdinand!

The new colourway guarantees to make an impression when it is worn on the pitch, as every element of the boot stands out. The silver is a metallic colour which not only looks strong, but very flash and ready to deliver performance. The red colour highlights the Nike badges, but also makes the innovative black ShotShield stand-out.

The reason the Nike T90 Laser II football boots have been so successful is down to the technological advancements Nike have made. Not only have Nike developed a new breathable synthetic upper, but more importantly the Laser II football boots can deliver power and accuracy through the innovative ShotShield.

Positioned to optimise ball strike, the Nike ShotShield works as it is a more dense material than the rest of the boot, which means it is a 'sweet spot' for generating extra power. Also, the rings that emanate from the ShotShield are positioned and angled to give a more aggressive and accurate shot.

The synthetic upper of the new silver/red/black Nike T90 Laser II football boots features a textured surface to increase friction between the boot and the ball. This will assist ball control all over the boot, and give a more aggressive contact when passing and shooting the ball. The upper also has Nike's waterproof eVent technology, which lets sweat escape and maintains a constant temperature inside the boot with enhanced breath-ability and air circulation.

These limited edition silver/red/black Nike Total 90 Laser II football boots are due to be released on 1st October, but are available for pre-order now. As they are only being released on limited edition, these new Laser football boots are only available in a firm ground sole-plate, but the price has remained constant at around £120 GBP. But we're just excited to see which professional players we can spot wearing this striking new colourway!
