As England Rugby s Ugo Monye steps out at Twickenham this Saturday against Argentina, he'll do so sporting a highly limited edition pair of white and purple Nike Superfly boots to celebrate the launch of the new England Nike purple away kit.
Ugo Moyne will wear the Mercurial Superfly boot, one of 70 limited edition pairs being made, as a nod to the new change kit, inspired by the iconic purple track jacket that was rewarded to players called up to represent England in the 70 s, 80 s and 90 s. Each boot has been handmade in Italy and individually numbered from 1 to 70. The white boot with purple Nike swoosh carries the message Wear it Proud , whilst the tongue will carry his name.
England back Ugo Monye said: The purple change kit and now the white and purple boots are associated with the iconic track jacket and all things England Rugby. It is a privilege to wear purple and I can t wait to play in the boots on match day.
