We're starting the New Year off with more boots! Here is the first of three new adidas F50i soccer shoes colourways - the Black/Macaw/White Premium edition. Available to pre-order now these boots come supplied as a comfort pack, costing around £125 GBP. We already know loads about the new adidas F50i football boots and these latest additions continue the trend for great-fitting, sleek and lightweight football boots from adidas.
On first impressions this colour looks simply like the reverse of the Macaw colourway released late last year. These new F50i's therefore have a more subdued appearance but are still a really eye-catching boot thanks to the bright green colour accents and highlights. The synthetic upper still features adidas' SprintSkin material. The material is single-skin so it gives a great touch and feel for the ball whlst reducing weight, and is also durable to cope with the rigours of the modern game. You'll notice on closer inspection the two-tone colour combination across the upper, something adidas launched with the Silver/Red/Black F50i edition also last Fall.
The two standout features of the new adidas F50i football boots upper, is the print application on the instep of the boot and the new lace-cover. The print application is positioned to assist ball control by increasing friction, and the redesigned lace-cover increases the kicking area whilst still allowing access to the laces.
Unique to the adidas F50 football boots is the Tunit technology, enabling you to choose between studs or a street outsole. The interchangeable studs are suitable for soft, firm and hard ground surfaces so these boots can adapt and be worn in all playing conditions.
This adidas F50i also comes with a comfort insole although if you are an existing tunit player you can swap your components around to suit your style. This edition features a more "smoky" Alles-Klar heel section, similar to the Messi versions already available.
We know the new adidas F50i football boots are a sound boot, as they are designed to meet the performance needs of a speed players. This is the second ultra-limited pack adidas have released for the F50i, with the first set finally being released as individual boots due to public demand! No surprises this time that adidas have kept the fans happy and released the boots seperately as well. So you can choose to buy all three, or the individual synthetic, ClimaCool or leather versions to match your taste and style!
This new colourway is produced in a limited run, so if you're looking for something different to your team mates you should have plenty of options now. We reckon this version is just as cool as the Macaw, but with the more classic look you don't normally find with speed boots.
With these boots being a limited release, we're definitely excited to see if any players choose to sport this boot, as it is definitely an excellent addition to the F50i family.
