adidas Predator X Football Boots - Predator Blue/White/Scarlet
When adidas released the Predator X football boots they split opinions and caused a lot of debate. Now adidas have returned with these brand new Champions League football boots, and it seems the Blue/White/Scarlet colourway will re-ignite the debate.
Football boots don't come more iconic than the adidas Predator range, which has been in existence for over a decade and has ten incarnations under their belts. But we're beginning to wonder whether adidas have got to the stage where every release needs to make a statement, because these boots are certainly eye-catching and we'd love to hear your opinion on them.
Putting aside split opinions on how the boot looks, we can all agree that the adidas Predator X football boots are a quality boot designed for power and performance. A host of Predator wearers have been happy to switch into these new boots, as the fit has been improved by adidas, along with a new energy return system that brings more power, swerve and control to every kick.
The adidas Predator X football boots combine uniquely developed Taurus calf leather, a performance leather that combines a natural look and feel with high abrasion qualities, with synthetic Predator technology. The redesigned Predator vamp has been placed in an optimised striking position, and the rubber-silicon mix material provides unique ball contact for constant swerve, control and accuracy.
The adidas Predator X football boots are the first Predator, since the original back in 1994, not to have a fold-over tongue. Instead adidas have removed the tongue, so the Predator X football boots feature a wrap around collar, a fit that combines with the new flattened lacing system.
To help increase shot power the adidas Predator X football boots feature the new Powerspine sole-plate, replacing the previous Powerpulse element. The Powerspine minimises energy loss and maximises power, as it redirects and transfers shot power directly into the ball, by preventing the feet and metatarsals from over-bending.
All three of the adidas new releases tie in with the new Madrid Champions League ball, just like the Rome editions last season. And if you're eager to get your own pair of these striking adidas Predator X football boots, they will be available to pre-order from today, and are expected to hit the shelves from 25th March for around £135 GBP.
