Joma Total Fit Ultralight Football Boots - Black/Lime/White

Joma Total Fit Ultralight Football Boots - Black/Lime/White

Introducing the new Joma Total Fit Ultralight football boots, one of the Spanish company's new 2010 football boots releases. Renowned for their traditional approach and superior craftmanship, the release of this Ultralight version makes for interesting viewing...

The Joma family have been perfecting the art of designing and manufacturing football boots for over four decades; accumulating experience and achieving quality few other brands can equal. Using the finest, premium grade hide from one of the worlds most renowned leather producing regions in nearby Toledo, Joma historically produces some of the most comfortable boots on the market.

The new Joma Total Fit Ultralight successfully blends the company's traditional heritage with new innovation techniques, resulting in their lightest boot to date. Don't go expecting any adizero style weight loss here though - the Total Fit Ultralight tips the SoccerBible scales at just over 255g. OK, so not the lightest of football boots we've ever featured, but a remarkable effort for a brand traditionally focused on total comfort and keeping up their heritage.

We do love a retro looking boot here at the SoccerBible, and the Black/Lime colourway that features on the Total Fit Ultralight - complete with bright lime laces - certainly scores points with us in the colour combo stakes. The Upper on the Total Fit Ultralight is made from a single piece of high quality ultra-lightweight microfiber, removing the need for any internal stitching for a supremely comfortable fit.

Available only in a firm ground stud edition, the Ultralight features Joma's Multitaco 09 sole plate. Here 14 strategically positioned and narrow dual density PU studs are joined by a reinforcement structure running the length of the sole designed to give optimum stability and grip. The location and distribution of the studs is intended to make changing direction easier and attempts to reduce the risk of injury.

While the outsole of the boot has been narrowed, minimising the weight of the boot, the stability of the Total Fit Ultralight has been maintained with a solid grooved plate running under the foot arch. This crossbow system prevents any unwanted flex in the boot.

Available to pre-order now ahead of a 1st July retail release, the new Joma Total Fit Ultralight will set you back around £80 GBP / $120 USD.
