Puma v1.10 JB Final Football Boots - Gold/Black/Fern Green
The creative department of Puma are working overtime this World Cup, as they come up with yet another boot specific to South Africa. Check out the SoccerBible's exclusive First Look gallery images of the Puma v1.10 JB Final football boots...
Designed specifically for the knockout stages of the World Cup, the Puma v1.10 JB Final football boots are inspired by the Soccer City Stadium of Johannesburg, which will host the final of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
The Gold/Black/Fern Green colourway continues the high performance standards of the v1.10 range, which is popular with such star players as Samuel Eto'o. But with Cameroon and Eto'o exiting the World Cup, Puma have lost their star player, so boot spotters will be keeping their eyes peeled to see who Puma put in these new boots.
As with the Puma Unity kits, Puma have incorporated elements of their Love = Football campaign, with designs splashed over the upper of the boot. And printed on the inside of the Puma v1.10 JB Final boot is a very unique feature, the coordinates for the location of Johannesburg Stadium. Although this has left us scratching our heads slightly, as Johannesburg Stadium is the 37,500 capacity home of Orlando Pirates, not Soccer City where the World Cup final is being held!
For performance, the Puma v1.10 JB Final football boots assist ball touch, control and dribbling through a lightweight microfibre synthetic material, which covers the majority of the boot. The new material replicates the ball feel of a good leather, with the added bonus of a unique coating that generates fantastic friction between the boot and the ball.
A one-piece speed outsole incorporates a carbon-fibre plate, to provide pressure distribution, reactivity and flexibility, whilst movement is further complimented by the pointed stud configuration, to ensure smooth ground penetration for optimal traction.
The Puma v1.10 is the perfect soccer shoe to feature alongside a creative and innovative idea, as they stand alone in the speed boots market due to their unique design, construction and engineering. The v1.10 range is the result of a very simple design brief; give confidence to be the fastest. Which Puma have achieved through a combination of materials working in unison to create this lightweight speed boot.
The new Puma v1.10 JB Final football boots are available to pre-order now for around £120 GBP, and we think they are an excellent colour combination. They're sure to look great on pitch, as they form part of a unique and innovative idea, but we want to hear what SoccerBible fans think of the new Johannesburg Edition Puma v1.10 football boots?
