adidas F50 adizero Football Boots - Chrome/Black/Warning
The SoccerBible can officially unveil to you the stunning new adidas F50 adizero colourway, not to be seen on the adizero Prime, the Chrome/Black/Warning is unique to the adizero! Check out our exclusive photography and tech info...
The adidas F50 adizero was originally designed with Lionel Messi in mind, a boot engineered to make the fastest player on the planet even quicker. Since its conception the adizero has gone on to be a global success with players flocking in their hundreds to wear them. Of all the new adizero football boots released, we think this one will have the most people talking as this colourway is unique to the adizero, unlike the Black/White/Electricity and Warning/Black/White which also feature on the Primes.
Visually the boots are like nothing we've seen before. They feature a dramatically eye-catching design that could be blinding on a sunny day! The new F50 adizero football boots are a super-slim 165grams and are the next step in the evolution of adidas' most revolutionary football boots. Featuring an improved SprintSkin upper, not too much has changed from the first generation of adizero football boots, but then again they were such a phenomenal success!
The single layer synthetic material returns to improve the boots' second skin feel, and has been upgraded to be thinner and lighter than the previous model and also features an engineered grain for enhanced ball control and touch. Perhaps the most obvious benefit is the zero water uptake - meaning this cleat doesn't get heavy even in wet conditions.
These exclusive adidas F50 adizero football boots will only be available in a FG sole plate that features the triangular Traxion studs bespoke to the adizero range. They're placed at strategic positions across the sole unit which aid pressure distribution and are designed to give improved directional grip.
This new F50 adizero retains the last from the previous adizero, unique to F50 series and differing from the Predator and adiPure lasts with a wider yet flatter footbed. This means the studs can be positioned closer to the outside of the sole, giving greater stability, and improving movement, traction and pressure distribution.
You'll notice the stable and discreet external heel counter is still present, an innovative redesign of a boot essential which intends to lock your heel in as you sprint to evade the opposition.
Attached to the heel counter is the out-sole construction, dubbed Sprint Frame, the one-piece material takes away the need for a standard insole which reduces the weight yet keeps the boot strong and supported. Simply? Less layers, less materials, less weight!
There's no doubt the adidas F50 adizero football boots have revolutionised the game and the boots market. For this reason there is a slight adjustment to the price, but the adizero's are still one of the most competitively priced boots on the market.
The Chrome/Black/Warning adidas F50 adizero football boots are expected to cost around £140 GBP/ $200 USD, and are set to be released slightly later than the other colourways on 1st March.
