adidas F50 adizero Football Boots - Warning/Black/White

These versions of the adizero feature the Warning/Black colourway, as sported by the adizero Prime football boots, although you'll notice the main feature to differentiate between the two is the black band that adorns the Prime is replaced with a continuation of the Warning colour. Visually the boots have had a dramatic and eye-catching redesign, yet they are still a super-slim 165grams and continue to be one of adidas' most revolutionary football boots. Featuring an improved SprintSkin upper, not too much has changed from the first generation of adizero football boots, but then they were such a phenomenal success! 
The single layer synthetic material returns to improve the boots' second skin feel, and has been upgraded as thinner and lighter than the previous model and also features an engineered grain for enhanced ball control and touch. Perhaps the most obvious benefit is the zero water uptake - meaning this cleat doesn't get heavy even in wet conditions..
Of course, as well as a choice of uppers there are a comprehensive choice of outsoles for different ground conditions. The F50 adiZero boots are available in three distinct sole plates, from soft ground (SG) to firm ground (FG) and also a new hard ground (HG) plate.
The FG plate features the innovative triangular Traxion studs bespoke to the adizero range, placed at strategic positions across the sole unit to aid pressure distribution and designed to give improved directional grip. The SG plate takes the form of a mixed sole version which substitutes 6 removeable aluminium studs at the toe and heel. Both sole plates offer stability through a sleeker midfoot area which also goes to creating a snug fit.
A common criticism of adidas football boots is that they are a too narrow fit, and for this reason the new adidas adizero soccer shoe retains the last from the previous adizero, which is unique to the F50 series and differs from the Predator and adiPure lasts as it has a wider and flatter footbed. This also means the studs can be positioned closer to the outside of the sole, giving greater stability, and improving movement, traction and pressure distribution.
You'll notice the minimal external heel counter has returned, and stands-out in bold white, an innovative redesign of a football boot essential intended to lock your heel in as you sprint to evade the opposition and provide support for your standing foot as you shoot. Attached to the heel counter is the outsole construction, dubbed Sprint Frame, the one-piece material takes away the need for a standard insole which reduces the weight yet keeps the boot strong and supported. Simply? Less layers, less materials, less weight!
There's no doubt the adidas F50 adizero football boots have revolutionised the game and the boots market. For this reason there is a slight adjustment to the price, but the adizero's are still one of the most competitively priced boots on the market. The Warning/Black/White adidas F50 adizero football boots are expected to cost around £140 GBP, they are set to be released 1st February but are available to pre-order from 1st January.
