adidas F50 adizero Prime Football Boots - Warning/Black/White

adidas F50 adizero Prime Football Boots - Warning/Black/White

There's been a lot of excitement and speculation surrounding the release of the new adidas F50 adizero Prime football boots, and the SoccerBible has the full and exclusive unveiling of these new adidas football boots along with all the tech info and release dates.

Over the past twelve months we've seen quite a significant shift in the speed boots market, as the adizero has overpowered the dominate Nike Mercurial series. Of course, the ultimate test will be to see whether the new adizero Primes receive as popular response as when the black Nike Superfly II was released, bearing in mind the new Superfly received over 2000 Facebook likes!

There's no doubt the adidas F50 adizero football boots have revolutionised the game and the boots market, and the adizero Prime is expected to take performance to another level as it weighs in at a stunning 145g shaving 20g off it's predecessor. For this reason, adidas have bumped up the price of the Prime's due to new tech  advancements that have been made throughout the boot, but contrary to previous reports suggesting the Prime would cost £260 GBP/ $400 USD, the adizero Prime will now set you back around £210 GBP/ $320 USD.

The brand new adidas adizero Prime football boots are constructed using a new material upper, which is thinner to reduce weight and give an improved feel for the ball. The adiLite Twin material is once again a single-layer synthetic upper, and features a striking design!

The main question on everyone's mind is how much do they weigh? The adidas F50 adizero Prime football boots  tip the scales at a featherweight 145g! That's 5g lighter than the Puma  v1.10 SL football boots. OK, so we know that's only 5g but to adidas  that's the difference between having the lightest production boot on the  market and not. They've taken the crown off Puma with the release of  the adizero Prime football boots.

A major new feature for the F50 adizero Prime soccer shoes is the TPU Bottom Frame, which is the main design feature that stands the Prime apart from the standard adizero. Coloured black on these Warning/Black/White versions, the bottom frame offers lateral stability and support, transfers forces from the outsole to the upper and offers protection against upper abrasion.

One of the major innovations that has enabled the adizero series to be so lightweight, is the creation of the Sprint Frame. This lightweight outsole is engineered to offer stability through geometry and lightweight materials.

Adidas pioneered a new stud shape and configuration for the F50 adizero football boots, and as this sole-plate proved popular with the pro's it has returned for the Prime editions. The Traxion studs are shaped for maximum acceleration, and spaced to provide support during movement.

Comfort and fit is provided by the Internal TPU Support Bands, which offer lateral stability and support. They also re-inforce the single layer material, and are the reason the upper material of the adizero Prime can be so thin, as they maintain the boots' shape.

The new Warning/Black/White colourway is sure to get these new adidas football boots noticed when they make their on-pitch debut. Although we're interested to hear what the fans think of the new upper design, with the three stripes re-positioned and the print graphic on the toe area.

There's no doubt the adizero Prime is going to be a love/hate boot due to it's price band, as it enters Nike Elite territory. But after such a stirling year, you can't really blame adidas for pushing the limits of the most popular boot range on the planet at the moment.

As we've mentioned the adidas F50 adizero Prime football boots are expected to cost around £210 GBP when they are released on 1st February, although you can be first to own a pair if you pre-order from 1st January.

They're quite an exceptional boot to kick-off 2011 with, so now you've seen the exclusive unveiling of the adidas F50 adizero Prime football boots we'd love to hear your opinions...
