Puma PowerCat 1.10 Football Boots - Black/White/Aged Silver

Puma PowerCat 1.10 Football Boots - Black/White/Aged Silver

Amid a host of colourful new releases from Puma, comes these rather sensible and classic looking Black/White/Aged Silver Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots. But don't be deceived, they still pack quite a punch in the power market. Check out our exclusive unveiling of this new Puma football boot...

The Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots are not a boot that has been mass publicised, yet despite this lack of attention it has established itself as a firm performer in the game and can boast quite an impressive cast list including Vidic, Chiellini, Carrick, Crouch, Rosicky and Sagna.

The Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots are a great combination of engineering and comfort, and we can see Puma are making great strides with their boot development. Because, just like the v1.10 speed football boots before them, the PowerCat's are unlike any Puma boot we have seen before.

The injected Puma 3D Power Shooting Technology, the fresh Cat branding and the supersoft kangaroo leather make the PowerCat 1.10 a genuine choice for top professionals, and although you could classify the boot for strikers, there are a surprising amount of defenders who opt for the PowerCat.

The standout feature of the PowerCat football boots is the Puma 3D Power Shooting Technology (Puma 3D PST) located and built-into the boots kicking area. Designed to increase shooting power, while maintaining ball touch and feel, the 3D PST achieves increased shot power through its extremely high rebound properties, absorbing more than the typical amount of energy upon ball impact and releasing more power with every shot.

For comfort, fit and ball feel, Puma have gone with a natural material and used a supersoft, premium kangaroo leather for the boot's upper.

To enhance ball touch, increase the kicking area and improve pressure distribution, the Puma PowerCat football boots feature an off-centred lacing system, as favoured by many top pro players.

To improve fit, the boots have been formed around Puma's new anatomically-shaped PowerLast, an evolution of the Puma AptoLast. Which once again follows the foot's natural contours for a great fit, but provides more volume in the forefoot and instep allowing the upper to mould to the players foot. To further improve fit and comfort, the anatomically shaped removable sockliner provides cushioning and shock absorption.

The outsole of the Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots have an external TPU-injected heel counter. This is lightweight and 'finger-shaped' to cradle the heel of the foot, and provides optimal support and stability during movement and ball striking, whilst offering protection. The outsole also features a new bladed stud configuration, to ensure smooth ground penetration and pressure distribution, while providing maximum traction and manoeuvrability.

The Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots are a boot that seem to really spark a debate due to their uniqueness, they are a comfortable boot that's a departure from the chunkier, more protective feel of their predecessor the v-Konstrukt series. And Puma have been able to develop some unique technology within the competitive power and accuracy market, whether they've won over a majority is yet to be seen.

These brand new Black/White/Aged Silver Puma PowerCat 1.10 football boots will hit the shelves and pitches from 8th January, and are expected to cost around £125 GBP/ $210 USD.
