Puma V1.11 K Leather Football Boots – Green/Navy/White

Puma V1.11 K Leather Football Boots – Green/Navy/White

For many years now, Puma have been fine exponents of the leather speed boot. They've been able to marry synthetic speed technology with the comfort and feel of a leather, and these v1.11 K leather football boots are their latest versions. Check out the SoccerBible's full and exclusive images, your first stop for the latest boot releases.

The brand new Green/Navy/White Puma v1.11 K Leather football boots have officially arrived as part of Puma's all new 2011 speed boot range, and for anyone dubious of the leather's credentials within the speed category, let us tell you that these versions weigh-in the same as their synthetic counterpart at 225g!

A leather upper combined with a speed outsole, has to be a winning combination. There's no denying that when it comes to natural materials, kangaroo leather is number one, as the densely packed natural fibres offer a softer and more comfortable feel whilst also being more durable.

The leather upper Puma v1.11 K Leather football boots is married up to the synthetic outsole using Puma's UNI technology, where the upper material is stitched rather than glued to the sole for a consistent fit. The benefit of Puma's engineering and outsole, means the foot sits low on the pitch.

The new Puma v1.11 K Leather soccer cleats enable greater mobility through an external heel counter and a Pebax frame that provides support to the outsole. The midfoot area is reinforced with a TPU composite which secures further stability and helps to avoid midfoot bending.

This increased stability throughout the Puma v1.11 outsole enables optimal traction as well as manoeuvrability. This is provided through the unique pointed stud configuration featured on the Puma v1.11, which combines with an anti-slip insert under the heel for a boot that not only fits snug but supports the foot and prevents slippage.

To further enhance movements the v1.11 sole-plate features a carbon fiber composite in the forefoot, helping to provide optimal pressure distribution, reactivity and flexibility for an ultra-responsive outsole during movement.

The stand-out feature of Puma's new  v1.11 K leather soccer shoes is the new lace-cover design. Held in place by an elastic strap and a TriHook fastener, the v1.11 lace cover ensures a snug fit that provides a smooth kicking area and unique look with the famous Puma cat arching across the front. The easily accessible central lacing, which sits underneath the newly designed lace cover, makes the boot suitable for various foot-shapes.

It seems the holy grail for a performance leather speed boot, is to offer comfort and feel from a natural material combined with the lightweight speed from engineered synthetics, but have Puma managed to achieve this? The new Green/Navy/White Puma v1.11 K Leather football boots are available to pre-order now ahead of a June 15th release, but the leather upper means you'll have to pay more for the Puma v1.11 K with prices set around £160 GBP / $200 USD / €160 EURO.
