Across each adiPURE edition, adidas have continued to develop a near perfect heritage football boot. With 'OneTouch' construction and an even softer K-leather vamp, the new adiPURE IV is more breathable and lighter than ever before. 
The stitching pattern on the adidas adiPURE IV vamp supports the natural stretch of the K-leather for the best fit possible, yet retains consistent performance properties in both wet and dry conditions. The fully blacked-out leather upper is complimented by one line of gold stitching, running from the front of the boot to the heel. 
The adiPURE IV football boots meet modern day demand by being the lightest standard adiPURE to date. In comparison to the adiPURE III - which tipped the scales at 10.6oz - the adiPURE IV is a respectable 9.8oz, giving the boots a noticeably lighter feel.
One of the key visual changes that adidas made to the adiPURE IV is the repositioning of one of the famous three stripes. Just noticeable in an all black design, the former rear stripe has had a subtle shift from the back to the front, giving the adiPURE IV football boots an old-school authenticity. 
To help reduce the risk of injury and stress on the Achilles tendon, the adiPURE IV football boots come equipped with an internal heel stabilizer to offer maximum stability and protection. The shallow external heel counter used on the adiPURE III is retained in the latest incarnation. 
Built on the same last as the former adiPURE III, you can be sure of a consistent fit for those who have worn adiPURE football boots before. The adPURE IV soccer shoes feature a lightweight and durable TPU soleplate incorporating Traxion technology for optimum grip and stud pressure. The new Black/Black adiPURE IV will only be available in a FG sole plate.
