Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite Football Boots - White/Gold

The second instalment of Nike's revolutionised Tiempo Legend IV Elite has landed - and it's a beauty! Following the Black/White/Total Orange launch colourway, the boots second release arrives with an unconventional colour combination of White/Gold and Volt.

With the huge on-field success of the recent White/Volt/Black Tiempo Legend III, Nike have re-introduced a colour that proved so popular with players such as Javier Hernandez - who is still wearing the boots! Whereas second colourways of a new boot usually play the supporting role, the new White/GoldNike Tiemepo Legend IV Elite is ready to take centre stage!






A modern boot for elite players, the new Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite is a major leap forward in Tiempo design. A boot built around tradition, Nike have significantly updated the Tiempo - now weighing just 265g- to suit the modern game. The new Nike Tiempo Legend IV is Nike's new interpretation of what a leather boot should be!





Nike Flywire technology is the new stand-out feature of the Tiempo IV Elite, adding both strength and suppleness. Flywire threads have been bonded to the leather without sacrificing any softness (and therefore touch). Flywire technology also reduces the layers of construction on the upper, keeping that famous Tiempo softness. Incredibly, a total of 56.50 meters of Flywire is used to create the new Nike Tiempo IV Elite!  





The new Nike Legend IV Elite is made of Premium Kangaroo leather, only available in the Tiempo IV Elite. The upper is made from the softest and strongest high performance k-leather available. The same premium leather was first used by Nike in the 10R collection. Now, for the Tiempo Legend IV Elite, further advancements have been made making the leather stronger and softer  





Vamp stitching on the upper is one of the key factors in providing the soft touch and feel the Nike Legend is famous for. The new diagonal stitching in the new Tiempo Legend IV prevents the boot from over stretching while the clean minimal-stitched area at the front of the boot creates a clean surface for great touch.





Another key visual change made to the new Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite is the heel design. The Nike Legend has always had the iconic stripe piece on the heel. Now for the Legend IV, this classic design feature has been made functional as well as iconic. The coloured diagonal heel stripes have been designed to increase the boots visibility, enhancing your team-mates peripheral vision towards the shoe.





The carbon-fibre plate, first introduced in 2010, remains in the Nike Tiempo IV Elite. Usually a boot will have another layer of infrastructure made of TPU, but the carbon-fibre has enough structure alone, taking the player lower to the ground and therefore giving the boot greater response. The carbon fibre sole unit reduces the weight of the Tiempo by 40g, making it more responsive and ensuring greater performance.
