adidas F50 adizero miCoach Football Boots - Blue/White/Energy

adidas F50 adizero miCoach Football Boots - Blue/White/Energy

The adidas f50 adizero miCoach gets its first major colour-up since their launch back in September! The all new Blue/White/Electricity adizero miCoach kick-starts what's expected to be an exciting year for the f50 range. Soon to be seen on the feet of f50 superstar Lionel Messi, the adizero's latest paint-job reaffirms the boots reputation for bright colourways.

After the boots flying start to life in the boot league, the adizero miCoach has become one of the must-have football boots of 2012. Whether you're a sceptic or believer in adidas' miCoach technology, it's hard to argue with the boots on-pitch presence. With a new collection of colourways ready to drop, prepare for the adizero miCoach to receive a whole lot more attention! Share your thoughts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

The Blue/White/Energyf50 miCoach colourway will receive a wealth of player support following their scheduled Feb 14th on-pitch launch to tie in with the Champions League first round knock-out fixtures. Fronted by Lionel Messi, players including Diego Milito, Thomas Muller, Gareth Bale and Samir Nasri are also lined up to wear the new colourway for club and country as the High Energy/White/Electricity launch boot is phased out.

While the original High Energy/White/Electricity launch colourway of the f50 miCoach received mixed reviews, the new Blue/White/Energy boots may be met with a better response after the success of last years Blue/White/Slime adizero - the boot still being worn by Karim Benzema. Blue colourways have been big hits in the f50 range, dating way back to the original Cyan/White/Pink adizero.

The introduction of miCoach technology has changed the boot game. By delivering precise information direct to your computer, the chip allows you to track and upload performance data including speed, max speed, number of sprints, distance, and distance a high intensity levels. Using 360 degree movement, the on board memory stores all of your stats during a game for up to seven hours.

The construction of the adidas F50 adizero miCoach soccer shoes is built around three key features - Sprintskin, Sprintframe and the all new Sprintweb. The newly introduced Sprintweb - highlighted on these versions in the Energy colour, is an advancement on the TPU Bottom Frame from the previous adizero Prime. The Sprintweb offers increased lateral stability and support, especially across the midfoot, to transfer the forces from the outsole to the upper.

The adiLite Twin material is retained for the 'Sprintskin' upper, as it's been a hugely successful single-layer synthetic which reduces weight and gives improved ball feel. For this new generation of the adizero, the upper has been given a more textured finish to improve ball control and touch.

The 'Sprintframe' outsole is still a revolutionary one-piece chassis; thin, flexible and lightweight, the 'Sprintframe' is the main source of the adizero's speed. Retaining the heel support, the Speed Cell cavity adds to the rigidity you need in the mid-foot area, whilst there is still plenty of flex where needed.

The new Blue/White/Energy adizero miCoach football boots will be available to pre-order towards the end of January and will retail for around £150 GBP / €210 EURO / $200 USD. Alternatively you can purchase the bundle including the miCoach Speed Cell for £200 GBP / €245 EURO / $270 USD. What do you think of the f50's first offering of 2012?
