Puma v1.11 SL Football Boots - Blue/White/Lime
Sergio Aguero became the first player to unleash the new Blue/White/LimePUMA V1.11 football boots during Manchester City's semi-final clash with Liverpool last night at Anfield. Accompanying both the standard synthetic and K leather versions, the PUMA V1.11 SL speed boots also hit the market in striking fashion.
After El Kun was given the debut honours, the new coloured PUMA football boots will get their first outing across the top European leagues this weekend by some of PUMA's biggest stars including Radamel Falcao, Yaya Toure and Steven Pienaar. The extremely light PUMA V1.11 SL football boots are now more eye-catching than ever!
The PUMA V1.11 SL may not be the choice of many PUMA players, but as one of the games lightest football boots, the SL holds an esteemed place within the speed market. Thanks to PUMA's penchant for the different, the lightning fast V1.11 SL is unlike much else on the market. The latest colourway will take over from the Yellow/Purple/White release, with a strong level of player support expected across Europe.
The new PUMA V1.11 SL soccer shoes come fully equipped with a super-soft and ultra-thin microfibre synthetic upper that features new unique padded zones for improved ball contact, further enhanced by the new 'hidden' lacing system on the instep. The extremely soft upper material is great for comfort and ball feel, while providing slightly more protection than the V1.10 SL.
The champion component of the PUMA V1.11 SL football boots is the unique outsole, a successful carry over from the v1.10 versions. Engineered from a revolutionary Thermoplastic, the Pebax material offers outstanding mechanical, physical and chemical properties, by bridging the gap between thermoplastics and rubbers. For a fraction of the weight, the PUMA V1.11 outsole offers enhanced stability, durability and support.
To further aid player support and movement, the external heel counter on the PUMA V1.11 has been shaped and bonded to the upper, with strategically removed material to maintain a lightweight boot. As has proven a success in the standard V1 range, carbon fibre has been integrated into the outsole of the PUMA V1.11 SL soccer shoes to enhance player movement through reactivity, flexibility and mid-foot stability.
Visually, the PUMA V1.11 SL football boots are very different to the previous versions, with the Puma logo now an imposing presence on the side of the boots for a more aggressive look. Another feature revamped is the tongue, as the same ultra-thin microfibre material utilised for the upper continues for the tongue, instead of a soft material which didn't quite offer the same levels of protection and assist ball contact.
The new Blue/White/Lime PUMA V1.11 SL football boots will be available to order from January 30th, retailing worldwide for around £200 GBP / $250 USD / €220 EURO. Keep an eye out for PUMA's latest colourway this weekend, when the boots are expected to land across the top European leagues.
