After enjoying a spectacular 2011 that saw adidas' headline boot crowned SoccerBible Boot Of The Year, the three stripes return with the first adipower Predator drop of 2012 - the new Slime/Indigo/Blue adiPower Predator football boots. We can expect to see a great deal of adidas' latest Pred offering throughout Europe as we head into the business end of the season.
Expect Predator favourites Robin Van Persie, Angel Di Maria, Nani and Kaka to all part ways with their current colourways in favour of the new Slime/Indigo/Blue adiPower, with the boots official on-pitch debut scheduled for tonight (14/02/12), despite making a number of rogue appearances last weekend! After recieving countless alerts across Twitter and Facebook, it didn't go unnoticed that Robin Van Persie gave the Slime/Indigo/Blue adiPower Predator boots their Premier League debut during Arsenal's visit to Sunderland. The Premier League's leading Predator goal scorer didn't waste any time in getting his hands on the latest colourway and will be looking to extend his record breaking goal count this season! 
The new Predator colourway won't be to everyone's taste but adidas intend to give the Slime/Indigo/Blue adiPower a high level of player support with a strong number of leading Predator pro's in line to wear the boots. Steven Gerrard unsurprisingly won't be making any appearances in the new release, while it will be interesting to see if Xavi makes a permanent switch to the latest colourway!

We don't predict a long wait before adidas align all three of their silo's with the performance monitoring chip. Speculation surrounding the successor to the popular adiPower is high and adidas have given themselves a tough act to follow! 
For those of you looking forward to a valentines date with some Champions League football tonight, expect to see Barcelona conductor Xavi Hernandez doing what he does best in the new Slime/Indigo/Blue adiPower Predator football boots! Arsenal's Robin Van Persie will also be giving the boots their first taste of Champions League football tomorrow night as Arsenal travel to the San Siro. 
The new Slime/Indigo/Blue adiPower Predator football boots are available to pre-order from today at selected retailers for release on 01/03/12.
