adidas F50 adizero Leather miCoach Football Boots - Phantom/Electricity/Energy

adidas F50 adizero Leather miCoach Football Boots - Phantom/Electricity/Energy

The adizero miCoach returns for its second drop of 2012. The three stripes are toning things down to some extent with the release of the new Phantom/Electricity/Energyadizero miCoach football boots - the second f50 miCoach release to feature a black base colour, while being brought to life with adidas' signature Electricity colour.

Set for a mid-Feb on pitch launch, the new Phantom/Electricity/Energyf50 adizero miCoach football boots will get on pitch support from adidas pro's including Arjen Robben, Emmanuel Adebayor, Jermaine Defoe, Dani Alves and Stuart Downing - all players known for wearing darker colourways of the f50 range. February may be the month of the adizero, with two new colourways set to establish a strong on-pitch presence. Both the recently launched Blue/White/Energy and the featured  Phantom/Electricity/Energy boots will offer adizero pro's with two new alternatives to the original launch colourways of the miCoach range.  The leather adizero's have been hugely successful, as for many boot fans the fit, touch and feel of a natural leather is unrivalled. As you can see there are two grades of leather, and for the vamp area adidas have used Goleo Calf leather for a supreme touch and a snug fit. The stitching and configuration of the upper has changed to replicate that of the Sprintweb on the synthetic versions to increase lateral stability and support. Lightweight leather football boots are still in the ascendancy, with a greater number of pro's known to favour leather uppers. One thing that's made the adizero range stand-out, is the development of such a lightweight and fast leather football boot. The leather versions of the F50 adizero have been extremely popular with the pro's, citing Lionel Messi and Arjen Robben as just two outstanding players who opt for the leather versions. As recently revealed by Dani Alves' El Clasico miCoach stats, the introduction of miCoach technology has changed the boot game. By delivering information direct to your computer, the chip allows you to track and upload performance data including speed, max speed, number of sprints, distance, and distance a high intensity levels. Using 360 degree movement, the memory stores all of your stats during a game for up to seven hours.   The new Phantom/Electricity/Energy miCoach football boots aren't too far removed from the Black/White/Electricity adizero Prime in terms of colourway. The boot that acted as the supporting role to the Warning/Black/White release in early 2011 saw popular player uptake with f50 stars including Karim Benzema. For the Real Madrid forward, the new Phantom/Electricity/Energy might be the colourway that finally tempts him into the redesigned miCoach boots! The new Phantom/Electricity/Energy adidas miCoach football boots will land throughout the month of February with retail release expected within the first week. The boots will be available for around £150 GBP / €210 EURO / $200 USD. Alternatively you can purchase the bundle including the miCoach Speed Cell for £200 GBP / €245 EURO / $270 USD.

The adizero miCoach range has been treated to a few hit-and-miss colourways so far this season. What do you think of the brands latest design?
