adidas Womens F50 adizero Football Boots - Purple/Electricity/Navy

SoccerBible can unveil adidas' latest arrival to the women's F50 range, which might once again draw envy from the men's collection. Here's a full and exclusive look at the new Purple/Electricity/Navy adidas F50 adizero football boots, the first miCoach adaptable synthetic women's F50.

Adidas are one of the few brands to release women specific boots across all their silo's, and after having a look at the White/Black/Energy leather versions, it's time to take a look at the women's synthetic offering...

The F50 adizero has firmly established itself as the games leading lightweight football boot over the last two seasons, and in that time we've seen adidas release more and more eye-catching colourways. The adizero miCoach versions in particular have drawn attention with such colours as High Energy/Electricty and Blue/White/Energy, so what do we think of the women's versions?

Being the women's F50 adizero miCoach soccer cleats, there are some minor differences to the men's boot. The interior heel is constructed from a lining with a plush foam underneath to provide protection and maximise comfort. But besides keeping the female foot a little more snug in the heel and ankle area, all other features remain the same.

The adidas f50 adizero miCoach hasn't been short of attention since its highly publicised release. The boots remain the lightest on the market as well as being one of the most visible on pitch when the weekend matches take centre stage. While a number of pro's opt for the boots leather alternative, the synthetic range carries a strong following for those after the ultimate in lightweight performance.

As recently revealed by Dani Alves' El Clasico miCoach stats, the introduction of miCoach technology has changed the boot game. By delivering information direct to your computer, the chip allows you to track and upload performance data including speed, max speed, number of sprints, distance, and distance a high intensity levels. Using 360 degree movement, the memory stores all of your stats during a game for up to seven hours.

The main source of the adizero's speed comes from the boots one-piece chassis. Thin, flexible and lightweight, the Sprintframe houses the Speed Cell cavity which adds to the rigidity you need in the mid-foot area, whilst there is still plenty of flex where needed. The wider stud configuration increases traction and stability for movement, and the studs have been shaped to perform better under-foot during movement and turning.

The new Purple/Electricity/Navy miCoach football boots are quite far removed from any of the current  men's offerings. It will be interesting to see if any male players opt for these versions, which we think would look particularly good with either Fiorentina's home kit, or perhaps Gareth Bale when wearing the Tottenham away kit!

The new Purple/Electricity/Navy adidas womens miCoach football boots can be ordered now and are predominantly available in the US market for around $200 USD, alternatively you can purchase the bundle including the miCoach Speed Cell for $270 USD.

When it comes to the adizero range, opinions are never in short supply! What do you think of the new Purple/Electricity/Navy adizero miCoach football boots
