adidas Womens F50 adizero Leather - White/Black/Core Energy

adidas Womens F50 adizero Leather - White/Black/Core Energy

For everything the adizero miCoach brings to the game, one thing that divides fans more than anything is the colourways. So it's always a head scratcher when adidas bring one of their most eye-pleasing designs to a women's specific boot! Nevertheless, park aside any envy as we give you a hands-on look at the new White/Black/Core Energy adidas Women's F50 adizero miCoach.

Ironically some would argue that it's the men's boot designs that boast a more feminine look! It's a common trend that has led a number of the male football playing population into wearing women's colourways, sacrificing a tighter fit for in some cases a great looking design (in the case of the Chrome/Blue/Phantom adizero of 2011!) Share your thoughts on the new women's adizero online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Only available in leather, this White/Black/Core Energy colourway has some minor differences to the men's boot. The interior heel is constructed from a lining with a plush foam underneath to provide protection and maximise comfort. So besides keeping the female foot a little more snug in the heel, all other features remain the same.

USWNT no.9 Heather O'Reily is one of the women's games stand out players known for wearing the leather adizero, having been spotted wearing the latest White/Black/Core Energy colourway during the United States recent game against Mexico. Lightweight leather football boots are still in the ascendancy, with a greater number of pro's across Europe and the world known to favour leather uppers.

The leather adizero football boots have been hugely successful, as for both male and female players the touch and feel of a natural leather is unrivalled. The adidas f50 adizero boots have a Geleo Calf leather vamp for a comfortable fit and lightweight upper. The leather will offer an increased level of comfort, contouring to your foot for a better fit.

As recently revealed by Dani Alves' El Clasico miCoach stats, the introduction of miCoach technology has changed the boot game. By delivering information direct to your computer, the chip allows you to track and upload performance data including speed, max speed, number of sprints, distance, and distance a high intensity levels. Using 360 degree movement, the memory stores all of your stats during a game for up to seven hours.

The main source of the adizero's speed comes from the boots one-piece chassis. Thin, flexible and lightweight, the Sprintframe houses the Speed Cell cavity which adds to the rigidity you need in the mid-foot area, whilst there is still plenty of flex where needed. The wider stud configuration increases traction and stability for movement, and the studs have been shaped to perform better under-foot during movement and turning.

The new leather White/Black/Core Energy adidas Women's F50 adizero miCoach soccer shoes are available to order now from selected US retailers, priced at around $200. We're certainly liking the looks of adidas' latest women's colourway! So let us know your thoughts, are the women's versions better looking than the men's?
