Joma Numero 10 Football Boots - Red/Black
Joma resurrect the 'Numero 10' in some style, bringing us an updated revamp of their classic boot. The evolution of the modern game has given rise to a new breed of play-maker - so much so that sports brands have re-written the rule book of boot design to meet their style of play. The Spanish brand have now entered the game with the Joma Numero 10 football boots.
Having already graced the feet of Joma star Frederic Kanoute, we were waiting with some anticipation for the boots arrival. Having finally landed a pair, we can now show you just what the boots have to offer. Design features aside, the Red/BlackJoma Numero 10 isn't a bad looking boot! With a distinctive colourway and subtle visual cues, the Joma team have certainly hit all the right buttons when it comes to the look of the Numero 10. The boots will be available in two colourways, with a White/Black/Red alternative (as seen on Kanoute) also set to drop. 
How have Joma made the Numero 10 suited to the play-maker position? With the obvious focus centred around control, the boots feature a Control Effect system on the forefoot, allowing for better grip with the ball which results in improved control. Much like the memory foam inserts on the Nike CTR360, this padded control zone is designed to give optimal sensitivity on the ball.
The Joma Numero 10 football boots also have a control and touch zone on the instep which allows further enhances to control, helping you distribute the ball quickly and accurately. The boots are crafted from a high quality microfibre which gives the Joma Numero 10 the benefits of comfort, stability and durability. 
The boots will be available in both a FG and AG sole-plate (as seen above). The artificial grass version of the Joma Numero 10 features short studs with medium thickness which are made from PU of two densities. This configuration provides more stability, better longevity and better traction whether wet or dry. The FG alternatives will instead feature Joma's innovative 360o system. 
Benfica forward Nolito DurÁn and Sevilla striker FrÉdÉric KanoutÉ will be the Spanish brand's lead endorsers as they prepare to officially launch the Joma Numero 10 across Europe. Both players are expected to remain in the White/Red/Black release that they have been wearing since December.
The Joma Numero 10 will look to deliver similar results to its control boot rivals at a cheaper cost. Available to buy from mid-Feburary, the Joma Numero 10 football boots will retail worldwide for around £60.00 GBP / €70.00 EURO / $95.00 USD.
