Joma Numero 10 Football Boots - White/Red/Black

Joma Numero 10 Football Boots - White/Red/Black

Joma are ready to stake their claim in the control boot domain with the revamped Joma Numero 10 football boots. The new boot of choice for La Liga strike duo Frederic Kanoute and Benfica's Nolito, the Joma Numero 10 is the Spanish brand's first venture into the increasingly popular realm of control football boots.

As a Spanish brand with a strong reputation for classic boot design and single-piece leather uppers, the Numero 10 certainly distances itself from Joma's more traditional designs. With a new look and features, the Joma Numero 10 targets the play-maker of the team. Despite its similarities the Numero 10 is no CTR, but with a price tag set at nearly half the cost it might just be close enough!

Design features aside, the White/Red/BlackJoma Numero 10 isn't a bad looking boot! With a clean three-tone colourway and unique visual features, the Joma team have certainly hit all the right buttons when it comes to the look of the Numero 10. The boots will be available in two colourways, with the White/Black/Red release (as recently seen on Kanoute) sitting alongside our personal favourite, the Red/Black colourway.

With the obvious focus centred around control, the Joma Numero 10 football boots feature a Control Effect system on the forefoot, allowing for better grip with the ball which results in improved control. Much like the memory foam inserts on the Nike CTR360, this padded control zone is designed to give optimal sensitivity on the ball.

The Joma Numero 10 football boots also have a control and touch zone on the instep which allows further enhances to control, helping you distribute the ball quickly and accurately. The boots are crafted from a high quality microfibre which gives the Joma Numero 10 the benefits of comfort, stability and durability.

The boots will be available in both a FG and AG sole-plate. The firm ground version of the Joma Numero 10 features 14 round moulded PU studs, making the boots suitable for dry and firm surfaces. The last on the boots is rounded to integrate the 360° system, which provides the interior of the shoe with the same anatomy as the foot.

Benfica forward Nolito DurÁn and Sevilla striker FrÉdÉric KanoutÉ will be the Spanish brand's lead endorsers as they prepare to officially launch the Joma Numero 10 across Europe. Both players are expected to remain in the featured White/Red/Black release that they have been wearing since December.

The Joma Numero 10 will look to deliver similar results to its control boot rivals at a cheaper cost. Available to buy from mid-Feburary, the Joma Numero 10 football boots will retail worldwide for around £60.00 GBP / €70.00 EURO / $95.00 USD. Can Joma's new control boot be a genuine contender in the control category?
