Nike Black Pack Season Line-Up
Nike have toned down the colour-dial to release one of their meanest looking boot line-ups in time for the 2012/13 season. Labelled the Nike Black Pack , each silo from the Tiempo to the Mercurial has been delivered in a hard-hitting design bespoke with their own individual drops of colour.
Sure, we're not looking at any true black-outs here, but that's just not Nike's style! The launch of Nike's third generation CTR brought the silos most outrageous colourway in it's brief history. But for many, the supporting Crimson release will be the one to consider. This completes Nike's boot line-up, ready for another attack on the European leagues.
The last Nike Black Pack we witnessed was in 2009, which included the Vapor Superfly and Vapor V, T90 Laser II and Tiempo Legend III. Nike unified all of their sponsored players in the black football boots for the start of the 2009/10 season. 
For the Laser IV and Tiempo Legend IV, it's business as usual. But for the Black/Seaweed Mercurial Vapor VIII, Nike have introduced further changes to the popular Vapor line. In similar fashion to the EC12 Clash Collection, the boot features a leather like Teijin Synthetic material, treated to be softer and more comfortable than the previous Microfiber upper. 
The new range covers every type of upper material, including Kanga-Lite 2.0 of the CTR360 Maestri III, Teijin Synthetic on the Mercurial Vapor VIII, K-Leather on the Tiempo Legend IV and Nike's standard patented Kanga-Lite on the T90 Laser IV. Nike offer four distinct types of football boots in terms of both performance and design. 
Following the spectacle created by the Euro 2012 Clash Collection, Nike continue to cater for players after a more sober look. Traditionally, black Vapor football boots are a quickly adopted by Nike's Mercurial roster and amateur players alike. Of all the boots, we expect this to be the biggest hit! 
The new Black Pack collection has already hit the pre-season circuit as clubs prepare for the start of the 2012/13 season. Unlike the Vapor, Legend and Laser, the Black/White/Crimson CTR360 Maestri III won't receive maximum player support, with CTR athletes being instructed to wear the lead Sonic Yellow colourway.
