Nike T90 Laser IV KL Football Boots - Black/Orange/Blue
In contrasting style to recent releases to the T90 stable, Nike take the Laser IV down a darker route with an effective Black/Orange/Blue colourway. The T90 makes a moody statement on the brink of another European campaign. How will it perform this season?
Popular on the professional and amateur circuit, the Nike T90 Laser IV has built a solid reputation since its introduction to the game. More refined and dynamic than past incarnations, the Laser IV is now on its seventh colourway and has favourably adopted Nike's Kanga-Lite upper material - we haven't seen a synthetic T90 since December 2011.
For the upper, Nike once again chose their Kanga-Lite material in place of a synthetic alternative. The leather-like material has performed well since its introduction to the CTR range and has received a strong player uptake over the past year, giving Nike the confidence to make the new Black/Orange/Blue colourway another KL FG exclusive.
The Nike T90 Laser IV adaptive shot shield technology is divided into 'Power' and 'Swerve' zones. Key contact zones are broken into strips surrounded by shape correcting foam, while Fins reduced in size and height offer a more powerful and natural ball feel.
From the early days of the first T90 Laser, Nike's power boot has become one of the most versatile boots in European football. Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres, Wesley Sneijder, Gonzalo Higuain, Alexandre Pato, Rio Ferdinand Robert Lewandowski all headline a player roster that highlights the boots popularity and versatility.
The TPU stud arrangement combines with toe and heel secondary traction. This design allows for superior structural reinforcement and traction on wet and soft ground pitches. A moulded-EVA sock-liner provides the necessary work required to reduce stud pressure and increase on-field comfort. As well as cushioning and support, the moulded-EVA sock-liner also provides the boots with a contoured arch and heel support.
The new Black/Orange/Blue Nike T90 Laser IV KL football boots are available to pre-order now from selected online stockists. Priced at the standard T90 price of around £140 GBP / $200 USD / €160 EURO, the boots will begin shipping from August 1st.
