adidas f50 adizero miCoach - One Year On
A quick look back at adidas' catalogue of adizero miCoach colourways over the last twelve months shows why these boots have been such a hit. For this generation though - the third in the adizero line - it's the end of the road, as adidas prepare to unveil the all new f50 adizero.
From the boots official debut on the feet of Leo Messi in the Champions League, to a memorable Euro 2012, the f50 adizero miCoach has been witness to some of the year's biggest football headlines. Which colourway left the biggest impression on you?

From day one, it was clear that the colourways were going attract a mixed bag of comments. The High Energy/White/Electricity boots didn't sit well with everyone. These were supported by the Black/Electricity/Warning design, worn by the likes of Karim Benzema and a few select others.

Adidas raised the bar (in our opinion anyway) for the next two colourways. After a long spell wearing the original launch boot, Leo Messi finally made the move into the Blue/White/Energy release. Once again, adidas put players such as Benzema, Adebayor and Defoe in the darker Phantom/Electricity/Energy design.

Next up was the White/Energy/Black colourway. The boots weren't worn by any of adidas' endorsed players. Key players remained in the previous two colourways until adidas dropped their Euro 2012 colourway. The Red/White/Blue design were one of the stand-out boots of the European Championships.

With Messi heading for a summer vacation, his next boot was the White/Lime/Onix release. The Barca star wore them for a brief period, most noticeably in the Copa Del Rey final and throughout the early pre-season period. As somewhat of an obscurity to the range, adidas shook things up with the 'Graphic' boots which didn't receive any on-pitch support.

For the final two editions, adidas went with a metallic look producing two of their strongest colourways. Messi began the 2012/13 season wearing the Silver/Orange boots, while adidas used players including Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to help endorse the alternate Black/Silver/Lime option.
