adidas Predator LZ Football Boots - Black/Pop/White

adidas Predator LZ Football Boots - Black/Pop/White

We've seen an array of colourways on the Predator LZ since the launch 6 months ago, some controversial, some extraordinary and some just missing that classic Predator feel, but the arrival of the new Black/Pop/White LZ proves to traditional Predator fans that adidas haven't neglected the Predator's famous roots.

When we think Predator we immediately picture a Black/Red/White boot oozing with style and originality and we're pleased to see this colour combo back on adidas' show-piece football boot. Predator die-hards have been crying out for a black Pred LZ and adidas have rewarded them by delivering the most technically advanced Pred of all time topped off with a trademark paint-job.

The new Black/Pop/White adidas Predator LZ football boots have already been given the seal of approval by Steven Gerrard. It's no secret that Gerrard is a massive admirer of the classic Predator look and it was a fitting occasion for the England skipper to lace up in a pair to mark his 100th International cap against Sweden.

The much loved white sole plate, famous for featuring on the Black/Red/White adidas Predator Mania in 2002 returns and the previous eccentric-coloured Lethal Zones make way for darker disguised zones giving the boot a more subtle look with just the 'sweet spot' and 'pass' zones featuring a splash of colour.

Featuring five zones of technology combining for efficient ball control, touch, accuracy and power, the new Predator Lethal Zones weighs in at an impressive 225 grams. And with the Sprintframe outsole, this boot is a contender in the speed, control and power categories.

The five lethal zones have been designed to master all aspects of the game. 'Drive', the zone raised and a thicker 3-D shape on the inside vamp of the boot, creates a rebound effect for greater distance and power whilst the 'Sweet Spot' zone has a smaller surface, with the purpose of generating greater spin and pace.

The 'Pass' zone is on the instep of the boots, with memory foam on the medial side of the boot to ensure consistency of passing, along with a 3-D sticky print with large surface area to increase ball contact time for more precise passing. The 'Dribble' zone is a continuation of the SL rubber from the forefoot, to provide optimum grip on the ball for controlled dribbling.

The new Black/Pop/White adidas Predator LZ football boots are available to pre-order now for a December 1st release. You can order your boots for around £160 GBP / €195 EURO / $220 USD or alternatively you can purchase the bundle including the miCoach Speed Cell for £190 GBP / €230 EURO / $270 USD.
