adidas Predator LZ Football Boots - White/Yellow/Blue
Initially previewed by Real Madrid players Angel Di Maria and Alvaro Arbeloa, we can now officially unveil the new colour addition to the the Predator line. The colour palette for the adidas Predator LZ football boots has been the most eye-catching in the history of the Predator range, and a true sign of the times.
The longevity of a boots range can be attributed to remaining true to your original design, such as the Copa Mundial or World Cups, or shifting with the current climate. The latter is where adidas have taken the twelfth incarnation of the Predator range, and if football boots have become more outrageously colourful then the new Predator is once again at the forefront of design!
At the heart of adidas' eccentricity is cutting edge technology, combining with a paint job for an advanced and unique looking Predator. Designed with five 'lethal zones' to deliver performance, the modern Predator LZ has more than just power and swerve in it's repertoire.
Featuring five zones of technology combining for efficient ball control, touch, accuracy and power, the new Predator Lethal Zones weighs in at an impressive 225 grams. And with the Sprintframe outsole, this boot is a contender in the speed, control and power categories.
The five lethal zones have been designed to master all aspects of the game. The first of the zones to discuss is 'Drive', the zone raised and a thicker 3-D shape on the inside vamp of the boot, which follows the natural shape of the instep to create a rebound effect for greater distance and power.
The 'Sweet Spot' zone has a smaller surface area and has raised ribs on the medial side of the boot, with the purpose of generating greater spin and pace. 'First Touch' zone sits on the forefoot area of the boots, and has recessed Predator SL rubber, which acts as a cushioning platform on the synthetic upper to give immediate ball contact.
The 'Pass' zone is on the instep of the boots, with memory foam on the medial side of the boot to ensure consistency of passing, along with a 3-D sticky print with large surface area to increase ball contact time for more precise passing. The 'Dribble' zone is a continuation of the SL rubber from the forefoot, to provide optimum grip on the ball for controlled dribbling.
The new White/Yellow/Blue adidas Predator LZ football boots will be available to pre-order from November 20. You can order your boots for around £160 GBP / €195 EURO / $220 USD or alternatively you can purchase the bundle including the miCoach Speed Cell for £190 GBP / €230 EURO / $270 USD.
