PUMA evoSPEED 1.2 - Black/Yellow/Blue
PUMA officially launch their new evoSPEED 1.2 football boots with a fresh design inspired by the smooth curves and dynamic airflow lines found on race cars. The crazy Camo disguise is gone and the evoSPEED 1.2 is revealed in a slick Black/Yellow/Blue colourway.
The reconfigured evoSPEED is designed to take performance to the next level both technically and visually and will be worn PUMA's pool of speed players such as Sergio Aguero, Radamel Falcao and Olivier Giroud. 
Rather than going all out for the shock factor by launching a boot in bright orange or yellow, PUMA have expertly combined a traditional look with a few modern twists demonstrated by the large Mercurial IX-esque style print on the instep which creates a sharp look on the black back-drop. 
As for the tech aspects, the evoSPEED 1.2 is made with a softer, lighter than ever microfibre upper for enhanced touch and feel. The upper of the boot also features PUMA GripTex, a 3D transparent print which delivers extra grip to improve touch in wet conditions. 
Inside the boot PUMA have designed the evoSPEED 1.2 with their internal EverFit cage, which has been strategically placed in the mid foot for optimal flexibility and stability when accelerating on the turn.
The sole plate has been revamped from the first evoSPEED to optimise penetration and increase manoeuvrability utilising Duoflex technology with smaller moulded conical studs. The boot may be lighter but PUMA haven't sacrificed durability and protection; the tongue and heel combine with the sock liner to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon and distribute it evenly.
