PUMA PowerCat 1.12 Football Boots - Black/Yellow/White/Blue
PUMA slap a new Black/Yellow/White/Blue paint job on their PowerCat 1.12 football boots ahead of the 2013 Champions League Final. The update features a splash of colour on the traditional black leather upper and PUMA have kitted up Borussia Dortmund's Marco Rues in a pair for the all German clash at Wembley.
PUMA's 11th PowerCat 1.12 colourway lands with a blend of heritage and flair. The instep of the boot is predominantly black with the odd bright detail, whereas the outside of the boot is all about the Yellow/White/Blue features on the graphic logo. 
The Champions League final will be a huge platform for new boots and PUMA boast an arsenal containing a new look PowerCat and the recently released evoSPEED 1.2 to mix it up with adidas' new additions. Arsenal Champions League Final in the same sentence? Bet that won't happen again for a while. 
The first PowerCat 1.12 was launched back in October 2011 so as far as the technologies are concerned you'll probably already know a thing or two about the next bit, but here's a run down for those who need remindin The stand-out feature on the PowerCat is the 3D DUO Power Shooting Technology, applied to the kicking area (makes sense) on the inside of the boot. 
The striking area of the boot (instep, outstep lace zone) are made from soft K-Leather to improve touch while the snazzy logo graphic at the back of the boot is made from lightweight microfibre material to support the mid foot and to keep the weight of the boot down to a minimum.
This new PUMA PowerCat 1.12 colourway will also be released in a slightly pricier SL version, which, as you would expect is a little lighter but takes nothing away from the quality of the standard versions. All in all a decent looking effort from PUMA, can't go wrong with a classic black leather upper with a couple a modern twists. Unlikely to get hoards of people rushing online for a pair but should get a good response.
