adidas Nitrocharge Forest / Metallic Silver/ Electricity
Although we're still 7 weeks away from the start of the new season adidas have dropped a bit of autumnal flavour on the Nitrocharge with the release of a new Forest / Metallic Silver / Electricity colourway.
The launch of the the new adidas silo has gone down a storm with the boot getting alot of pitch time since its launch. We recently laced up and tested the Nitrocharge and were massivley impressed. Forest green isn't a colour we see on boots all that often and we're not sure why after getting a good look at these.
The new Forest / Metallic Silver / Electricity colourway will please those who like to inject a bit of colour into their kit bag but isn't the kind of guy to rock up for new season training with brighter boots brighter than Stephen Hawkins. With the classy feel the boots give off they might even tempt a few black faithful's to try something new.
When reviewing the Nitrocharge's last outfit change we speculated whether the "Energysling" will stay flourescent yellow throughout the range and it looks as if we were right. The colour make sense, given it's official name is Electricity.
In our recent play test we liked the Energysling stating "the high-elasticity rubber band provides an assured fit and gives you real confidence during those sharp cutting movements. We all know that feeling of having your foot slip around inside a boot. The Energysling is here to stop that and does an excellent job at giving you assured stability."
Armed with a new array of boot technology, the adidas Nitrocharge is targets the workhorse midfielder, featuring totally new innovations from the adidas lab that are inspired by spring geometry to provide maximum energy output. The special upper construction allows for optimal stability and elasticity to give you more energy during lateral movement which really comes to life across the midfoot and rearfoot areas of the boot.
Housed within the revolutionary outsole is another key innovation. A new high-elasticity material called Energypulse which provides high energy output during toe-off phase. Also the responsive chassis enables optimum energy output by returning to shape far quicker. It is built on adidas' sprintframe construction with Traxion shape studs.
The Forest/Metallic Silver/Electricity Nitrocharge is available to pre-order now from selected stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. Let us know what you think online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
