adidas Nitrocharge 1.0 Football Boots - Solar Slime
The world cup is around the corner and adidas have kicked off the countdown by releasing the 'Samba Pack'. Featuring new colourways dropped across their entire boot range, the 'Samba pack' includes the new Solar Slime Nitrocharge 1.0 and takes inspiration from Brazil's flamboyant culture.
Released at the end of last season and aimed at the teams 'engine', the Nitrocharge 1.0 has already garnered a decent presence in South America. Brazilian defender Dani Alves helped launch the new silo and Argentines Ezequiel Lavezzi and Ángel di MarÍa both made the switch.
The new edition is all over slime green with solar orange laces and a samba inspired multicolour print on the inside of the boot. The 3 stripes are black and the 'Energysling' has been kept the same colour as the upper, something that we first saw with the 'Enlightened' edition and could be a new trend for the Nitrocharge.
Armed with an array of boot technology, the adidas Nitrocharge is for the box to box midfielder. The Nitrocharge features innovations that are inspired by spring geometry to provide maximum energy output. The distinctive Energysling is a high-elasticity rubber band designed to support side-cut and turn movements.
The Nitrocharge also features a new high-elasticity material titled Energypulse, which provides high energy output during the toe-off phase. Built on adidas' sprintframe construction with Traxion shape studs, the responsive chassis enables optimum energy output by returning to shape far quicker.
