adidas serve up a stealth look Predator LZ with a touch of zest.

adidas Predator LZ Football Boots - Black/Black/Zest

The latest adidas silo to receive a brush up for winter 13 is the Predator LZ. The demand for a blacked out version of each adidas boot is forever high and adidas have delivered by serving up a treat of colourway on their most famous boot.

The latest Predator LZ is wrapped up in a jet black paint job with finishing touches of zest on the studs, tongue and heel. When it comes to offering a more toned down alternative of each silo adidas always do the business. Not everyone wants the brightest boot available so for boot traditionalists the latest Pred, along with the black/blue F50 will be welcomed with open arms. We've got a feeling these might be pretty popular.

The new black/black/zest colourway is the closest the current generation Pred has come to the more classic Predator look and is a huge step away from the vibrant solar pinkSamba editions. Disguised underneath that blanket of darkness is your usual Pred LZ tech - five 'Lethal Zones' to aid dribbling, first touch, shooting, passing and control, providing the necessary technology to benefit your game whilst offering optimal comfort.

adidas have even plastered their Three Stripes with black to create the ultimate toned down version of the boot, the first time they've done so on the current Predator model. The perfect look for players who want to feel understated rather than overrated but it's unlikely that adidas will move their contracted players into this colour update.

The Predator is the benchmark of innovation and that has been proved in recent seasons with the landscape of the boot being re-worked and re-designed to adapt to the needs of the modern game. Stripping back the visuals is a timely reminder that less can often mean more with the focus firmly on the technology aspects of the boot rather than the debate of controversial colourways.
