Mizuno release new AF KR2 Pack
Mizuno have once again widened the choice of colourways for their top end 'Made in Japan' Morelia football boots by releasing a new collection of AF KR2 colourways. The luxurious handmade boots are now available in three fresh new options Pearl/Fern Green, Diva Blue/Bolt and Lime Punch/Black.
The new boots not only look fantastic they also offer the same high levels of craftsmanship as boots worn by their pro players. Hand made from super supple kangaroo leather, the Mizuno Morelia AF (Anatomical Fit) KR2 football boots offer unparalleled access to elite footwear.
One of the most important steps in footwear production is lasting, the process that gives a shoe its shape and is key to good fit and high comfort levels. The biggest difference in the Mizuno 'Made In Japan' collection is that they are lasted for 24 hours, rather than the normal 20 minutes afforded to most retail boots.
Mizuno also use a grade of leather usually reserved for their endorsed athletes for the AF KR2 boots and the super soft kangaroo leather is Scotchguarded. This means during the tanning and conditioning of the material it is treated with a liquid silicone to be waterproof, stain resistant and more durable.
The use of such materials and processes that make up the Morelia AF KR2 football boots go some way in explaining their heftier price tag but Mizuno assure us each pair is crafted to the exact same specifications as boots offered to their professional line up. So when we you lace up you know your feet are getting the same top end treatment as Hulk and the rest.
The new Mizuno AF KR2 'Made in Japan' football boots are available from selected stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer. What do you think of the new colour updates? Let us know. Join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.
