adidas have launched the first Messi exclusive F50 colourway of the season which has been created as a monument to every goal, record and trophy Messi has won in his career to date.
When you're that good you get the exclusive treatment and adidas have added to their already impressive signature Messi F50 boots by releasing a new yellow iteration for the Barca number 10 to kick off the new season in. In adidas' words the boots are "designed to reflect the unique magic and success Leo Messi produces on the pitch for club and country."
An abundance of words used to describe Messi and his abilities are scattered all over the bright neon orange upper to create a unique montage that only the man himself will wear on pitch. On the insole of the boot are the words "más que un botín" (More than a boot) although a quick blast in Google translate throws up 'More than a booty', interesting. The wording and lace tips are in Blaugrana colors and is a modified version of the famous Barca slogan "Més que un club" (More than a club). If anything was in doubt who these belong to then Messi's signature logo features on the heel.
The Argentinian striker will wear the boot in La Liga this season while he will wear an alternative colour way for UEFA Champions League matches (still to be released).
