Messi handed signature f50 adizero design to be worn in the Champions League.
Just a month following the release of the adidas f50 adizero Messi “Neon Orange”, the three stripes recognise their star player again by adding another signature design to Messi’s growing collection; the f50 adizero Messi “Blaugrana”. The unique boots fuse together the two iconic colours of Messi’s boy-hood club with additional touches of “Neon Orange” and “Earth Green”. The boots will be worn by the Argentine in Barcelona’s upcoming Champions League group games while the “Neon Orange” f50 will be worn exclusively in La Liga.
The four-way colour split is something new from adidas (and something some of you might recommend they don't try again) while the all-over print across the upper is carried over from Messi’s previous signature boot. The print is made up of words most associated with Messi including, “Velocidad” (speed), “Balon d’Or” and more obviously, “Messi”. The insole also carries the motto “Más que un Botín” (more than a boot), in recognition of FC Barcelona’s famous club motto, “Més que un club”, while Messi’s signature logo is found on the heel. The adidas f50 adizero Messi “Blaugrana” will be available at selected adidas stockists including Pro-Direct Soccer from Monday 15th September for a bumper price of £175.00.
