On your marks... Nike have finally put a date on when you'll be able to get your hands on the limited edition 'CR7 Rare Gold' Superfly IV, launched to celebrate Ronaldo's 2014 Ballon d'Or success.
Ready for one of the hottest drops of the year? Just 333 pairs of a limited production model will be available worldwide on the Nike Football app from February 19 at 8am GMT. Since the Ballon d'Or awards ceremony in January collectors have been speculating on a release date and now Nike have lifted the lid on their plans for what is sure to be one of the most exclusive boot drops of 2015. You've got the number, you've got the date. Let the scramble begin.
To mark Cristiano Ronaldo's third Ballon d'Or (hence 333 pairs) Nike dropped an exclusive signature Superfly, which including micro-diamonds applied by hand to the CR7 logo of the boot. The micro-diamonds are remnants from larger stones that are perfected by craftsmen. As the diamonds are refined and the details sharpened, tiny pieces are cut away, leaving micro-diamonds behind as evidence of work in progress.
