The next generation of evoPOWER arrives as PUMA launch the 1.3 in trademark Camo fashion. The first of the 2016 updates from the brand arrives under a blanket of disguise and launched in limited quantities as PUMA tease the next chapter of their 'power' line.
A re-jigged and re-vamped evoPOWER design provides the most stream-line boot of the collection to date with a cleaner upper surface to deliver maximum contact with the ball. All tech updates are kept under wraps at this stage until PUMA roll out the official launch colourway next month - any branding and upper tech is blurred with a unique line design as PUMA continue their trend of Camo cloaks, which kicked off with the evoSPEED 'Razzle Dazzle' in 2012. Since then we've seen everything from spotty pink dots to 3D designs.
The AdaptLite upper remains to allow the foot to bend as it would in a natural bare-foot motion and a lighter Pebax soleplate with a redesigned Gradual Stability Frame adds to that feeling. That's all you're getting on the tech until the boot launches in mid January. On first inspection we're looking at a sleeker evoPOWER that still packs the power characteristics the boot is applauded for. Power progression.
