Nike turn off the lights in the latest edition of their ever-popular 'Stealth Pack' design. Dropping in as the 'Pitch Dark' collection, the Swoosh throws their vibrant shapes on blackout renditions of the Mercurial Superfly V, Tiempo 6, Hypervenon Phantom II and Vapor XI.
No Magista? That's right. Nike have bigger plans for the Magista silo in the coming days, so you can expect to see a version of that join the Pitch Dark party fashionably late. Rather than a total black-out that we've previously seen across Nike Stealth Packs, the latest roll out consists of electric bolts of colour to mark out the Swoosh and silo branding – features that pop on the jet black canvas.
Although no on-pitch support is expected from the professional scene the blackout Nike collections are always welcomed with open arms by the football community. Players are given the opportunity to wear their preferred silo without having to sacrifice their traditional aesthetics. In short, all of Nike's most advanced football boot technology is disguised in a coat of tradition. A Rolls Royce with a Ferrari engine, if you like.
