PUMA add another flavour to the evoPOWER collection ahead of the new season as a secondary "White/Safety Yellow" combination wraps itself around the trademark shooting tech of the silo.
PUMA's selection of evoPOWER professionals are expected to slip into the lead "Shocking Orange" (definitely still red) edition, but this understated option provides a more subtle alternative for players after something that sits a little closer to neutral. It's a familiar colourway for a boot centered around power, providing a flashback to the Euro 2012 T90 Laser IV. A more advanced concept, albeit.
Tech-wise, you know the drill by now. PUMA looked at the mechanics of barefoot kicking when looking at the outsole and translated this into the boot by using a one way stretchable Adap-Lite upper. This allows the foot to bend, mimicking the barefoot kicking motion. This evolution of the boot has improved configuration of bladed and conical studs, allowing for more manoeuvrability and giving extra stability in the midfoot for the standing leg when kicking. An increased amount of AccuFoam in the upper provides a smoother and cleaner kicking surface for more precision when kicking the ball. This combined with the GripTex, a PUMA technology applied to the upper of the boot, helps create enhanced ball control. If you didn't know, you do now.
